Hi everyone! Here's an update on the 2nd Annual Channel Frederator awards - "Bobble & Sqweek" and "In the Beginning" won the Freddies for their respective categories. Thanks to everyone who voted and who helped me get the word out.. none of it would've happened without your support. I did a post on my blog so if you wanna see what the Freddie looks like go to: [link]

Thank you once again!

I found out a few days ago that "Bobble & Sqweek" and "In the Beginning" were nominated for the 2nd Annual Channel Frederator Awards!

Are Bobble & Sqweek so CUTE they make your kidneys bleed? Are the rabid exploding bunnies truly BADASS?

If you believe they are, please hop on over to [link] and vote for Bobble & Sqweek in the "So Cute It Hurts" category and In the Beginning in the "BadAss Bunnies" category :D Help Bobble and the Bunnies take home a Freddie (or two!)

Navigating the DA universe

Oh man, I think one of the reasons I don't update much on DA is how daunting the process of classifying my work is.. Like, I click on the category and a billion options pop up. And i know people don't like it if you put things in the wrong place so I spent a while figuring out what exactly my work is.. is it "illustration"? kinda.. but then it asks if it's storybook or technical.. no not really.. but kinda. lol you get the idea. So I think my default category is going to be "other art & scrapbook". It seems to be the safest fence to sit on hehe. Most of the work I end up posting on my blog seems to just be suitable only for "Scraps" since they're just doodles and don't really fit in any category O_o. hehehehehe.....

Sorry again for the mass reply but I was totally overwhelmed by the number of comments I got on my films after Guruubii spotlighted "In the Beginning" on the 19th. I'll try and reply individually to the comments that were questions. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to watch my little piece of animated madness. It's one kind of satisfaction finishing a film, and an entirely different kind when you see how people respond to it. I'm just really happy that it put a smile on someone else's face besides mine at the end of the day :D

I'm terrible at keeping things up to date (which explains why I have 3 deviations to date O_o) but I'm a little more faithful in updating my blog so if you guys want to see some random scribbles I make every now and then, just hop over to [link]. Enjoy!

To those who witnessed "The Beginning"

So thanks to more great advice to Misskittyoooo, I've learned that if I want to get a message out there that will actually be read, THIS is where i should post it! So here goes..

To all you guys who watched my film and left comments, thank you very much for your words of appreciation :) (I apologise for the mass reply but I was seriously overwhelmed by the number of comments i got!)

To be honest, I spent many sleepless nights wondering if I'd be the only one laughing at the end of the film because my sense of humour can be pretty lame lol. You guys have helped validate the insane hours I put into making this short. So thanks again!

Also, super special thanks to ^misskittyoooo and ^guruubii who invited me (poked me with sticks) to get my stuff up on deviantart :D And to ^FallenRox and $Moonbeam13 who've made this whole deviantART Film a reality. I was blown away by the quality of the video because when I first uploaded my film to youtube, I was really sad when I saw that most of the textures of the backgrounds and the line quality were gone. So to see it exactly as I had intended, even online, is really, really cool!
